Originally born in Texas, I grew up in many places since my dad was in the Air Force.  Our family lived in Japan, California, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Arizona.  Once we landed in Arizona, I graduated from Sahuaro High School, attended Pima College, University of Arizona, and finally finished my degree in Management at the University of Phoenix.

I have been attending El Camino since 1989, a member since 1996.  I have one daughter, raised at El Camino, who is married and has my 3 beautiful granddaughters.  I worked for City of Tucson in Police Communications for 31 years before retiring in 2014.  Over the years I have been a volunteer in various ministries such as Bethlehem Marketplace, AWANA, Good News Club, and been a Deaconess. I have been part of a Short Term Missions team which traveled to Spain in 2016.  Many hours have been spent working in the nursery, pre-school, and elementary areas teaching and nurturing children over the years and I still continue to help in those areas.  After “retiring” I worked in Family Ministries for about 3 years, took a break, then became the Receptionist/Facilities Scheduler.

Working at El Camino has been such a blessing in so many ways!  It’s exciting to see growth and change in people and in ministries.  I can’t wait to see what God has planned for us!
